What data we collect
We collect only what is needed for the purposes below.
- Partner application: company name, contact person, email address, phone number, country and the description you write, plus the time of your application and your consent.
- Messages: whatever you send us by email.
- Site statistics, only if you accept analytics: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information and an anonymous identifier, collected by Google Analytics through Firebase.
- Security: when you use the application form, Google reCAPTCHA looks at technical data such as your IP address and browser details to tell people from bots.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To handle your application and talk to you about joining the market: your consent, and steps taken at your request before an agreement.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it: your consent. You can refuse, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- To keep the form and the site safe from spam and abuse: our legitimate interest in security.
Who receives it
Your application is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), and Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA are provided by Google. Google acts as our service provider. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area; such transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We don’t sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep application data for as long as it is needed to handle your application and any cooperation that follows, and for any period the law requires. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our analytics account.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time; this doesn’t affect what we did before. Write to us at the address above.
You also have the right to complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija), www.dvi.gov.lv.
